What you’ll see in Slack
Once connected, WhiteWhale sends alerts directly to your Slack. Each alert includes the signal source, a quote or detail from that source, and a link back to the account in WhiteWhale or your CRM. You can also receive alerts for account suggestions when new matches are found, and deal revival notifications if you have a CRM connected.Step 1: Add the WhiteWhale app to your Slack channel
During onboarding you’ll be prompted to add the WhiteWhale app to your Slack workspace. Search for WhiteWhale in the Slack App Directory and add it to the channel where you want alerts to appear. If you missed this during onboarding, you can add the app at any time from the Slack App Directory.Step 2: Turn on your notifications
Enable the notifications you want

Step 3: Set up personal tagging
To get tagged in Slack alerts so you receive notifications, you need to connect your Slack Member ID to your WhiteWhale profile.Find your Slack Member ID
In Slack, click your profile picture or name. In the profile panel that opens, click the three-dot menu (⋯) and select Copy Member ID.
