# Credits & Billing
> Understand how WhiteWhale account credits work, when they refresh, and how to add more. Credits control how many accounts your team can actively monitor each month.
## What's included
WhiteWhale includes unlimited users, unlimited Account Suggestions, and all integrations on every plan. The one thing credits control is **actively monitored accounts** — the accounts WhiteWhale scans every day for new signals.
## How credits work
Your plan comes with a set number of account credits. Each credit represents one actively monitored account for the month.
**You use a credit when you:**
* Add an account directly from the Accounts page
* Activate an account from Account Suggestions
Once an account is active, WhiteWhale monitors it daily and gives you the full signal data — sources, quotes, facts, and the Why Now summary. Accounts sitting in Account Suggestions are just a preview until activated.
## Checking your credit usage
Click **Add Accounts** in the top right of the Accounts page. You'll see:
* Your total credit limit for the plan
* How many accounts you're currently monitoring
* How many more you can add this month
**Each month your credit balance resets** and you can choose to swap out the accounts you are currently monitoring up to your plan limit. I.e. On a 300 account plan each month you can swap out any existing accounts and enter in a new 300 to be monitored.
## Adding more credits
If you need more account capacity, there are two ways to upgrade:
* From the **Add Accounts** window → click **Add Credits**
* From **Settings** → scroll to **License** → click **Manage License**

Free up credits by archiving accounts you're no longer monitoring.
Find and activate new accounts from your suggestions queue.
